Day 39-44

The Fourth of July happened on day 43.  I did not do a whole lot.  I got in trouble with my husband though.  I went for a run and did not know how long I was running for.  It felt so good to run so I just kept going and did not stop and then decided to do some push-ups and dips afterwards.  When I got back in the house he got mad at me because I had been gone for a hour and he was beginning to get worried about me and had no way of getting a hold of me.  I sorry hun.  Love you

Week 5: 35-38

Man I really want a phone now I may just give up I'm not sure yet though.  It just would be great to not have to rely on anyone else when I want to use the phone or to have to wait until I get to work.  And I really want to be able to hit the snooze button on my phone when my alarm goes off.  LOL yes people I am a snoozer all day everyday.  LOL you know I think I really miss having a camera on me at all time too.  There are some funny things that you can catch people doing.   O well here goes to no cell phone.

Day 31-34

I was so excited to make it to day 30.  well now I've been suffering.  I'm trying to get somethings done.  Haveing to make call and email and it stinks having to wait until my husband get home to make any calls.   I was messing with his phone looking at the apps and there are some really cool one.  They really made me want to have my phone again.  MAN o MAN

Day 30

(Pic from http://www.sweetiepiecakes.co.uk/Number-cakes(1991742).htm)
I've made it to day 30.  It has been a month since I lost my phone and started my quest to life without a cell phone.  This morning my husband woke me up like normal and typically I would wake up right after he wakes me up, well not today.  I hit the snooze mentally.  I soon found out that doesn't really work ( you need a clock or phone to do that. LOL).  So needless to say I woke up 30 minutes later when my husband woke me up to find out why I was still sleep.  My bad.  And at lunch today all the women that I usually eat lunch with had their phones out playing with one app or another and all the while I was just sitting there aimlessly, twiddling my thumbs.  I soon left the lunch room out of board um.   Days like these make me wish i had a phone.

Week 4: Day 27-29

This past sunday was father's day (day 28) and I allowed my husband to trade his juicer for something else. (who doesn't want a juicer?  LOL)  Since he couldn't call me he decided to buy everybody something instead of just getting him self something.  Such a good man.  I had a soccer game (day 29) and considered staying later to play another game but I had no way a notifying my husband that I was going to stay late.  O well so instead I just went to the store as fast as possible.  I never realized until the lack of pay phones.  I mean you really have to search for one.

Day 26

Still no signs of the phone working again.  O well, It still was a very nice gesture.  Last night I had a game at 11:15PM, yes you read that right, well anyways I was a little worried.  I couldn't help but to think about what will happen if My car breaks down or how can I let my Husband know what time I will be home.  Everything turned out ok, living in the cell phone age had me paranoid but for good reasons.  And I have to say I truly love my husband.  He has to wake me up again in the morning.  I really appreciate that.

Week 3: Day 21-25

The last few days have been bittersweet.  I cheated a little at first using the emergency on non-emergency.  I'm paying for it though. Yesterday the phone cut off and we have not been able to get it back on. And I dare to say I was getting use to having a phone again. Now I have to get to reprogram myself again!!! ;-(  This is so hard.  I had to order dinner last night and could not call them.  Luckily for me they had a online program, so I was able to order the food online.  It was also hard to make the father's day gift for my dad that I was making.  I needed to call my siblings and get pictures from them.  I had to rely on Email though which didn't work all that great.

Day 20

This day was so relaxing until we checked out of the hotel. My now Father-In-Law gave me one of his phones to use.  So now I have an emergency phone if need be. But anyways my son had to go to the ER because he had croup (we didn’t know it then)  and I had to use my husbands phone in order to contact my family to tell them what was going down.  But all in all it work.

Day 19

The wedding was so nice there really wasn’t a need to have a phone that day.  I was so busy just trying to get ready to walk down the isle and party at the reception.

Day 18

I went to work as normal but it wasn’t a normal day.  This is the day before my wedding.  There is still so much to get done.  I have to get my nails done, hair, rehearsal and bridal shower all with out a phone.  When I went to get my hair I took my daughter and 13 year old niece with me and my mother decided that I needed to have a phone with me to keep in contact incase they needed me for something about the wedding.  So my niece took my mother’s phone for the time being.

Day 17

There is only three more days until my wedding.  People have started to come into town and I have to pick up one of my cousins from the airport.  OMG!!!  All I knew was what time her flight was coming in and what air line it was.  I got there on time and drove around the airport 3 xs’s then decided to stop in the cell phone lot to see if her flight had landed.  Well the board said that there were two flights for her airline and since both had landed I figured she should be here.  After 2 more laps around the airport we finally found each other.  Man was that an adventure.

Day 14-16

nothing really was going on.  Just more and more emailing to the wedding coordinator to try and get all the last minute details taken care of.

Week 2: day 8-13

It is a holiday week so I don't have to on monday and I was able to use my fiance's phone when ever I need to.  On another note once I started working agian I needed some way to wake up in the morning so my amazing Fiance started waking me up at 5:30 everyday.  I probably should get an alarm clock.

Day 5-7

I have been getting accustomed to not having a phone. I kind of just want to wait till I my contract expires so I can get a free phone instead of paying an arm and a leg for a brand new phone.

Day 4

I finally decided to call my service provider to let them know I lost my phone.  The turned my number basically to just an answer machine.  I still have had no luck locating my phone.

Day 2

Day 2 with out a phone.  Normally I would be calling my sister while I am on my way to work (she lives in Japan and with time difference it works out perfectly) at least twice a week but that didn’t happen so I just took my daughter to school and went to work.  I was running late this morning; if I had my phone I would just call or text my co-workers to tell them I’m running late but not today.  They understood though once I showed up.  The zoo said that they had not received my pink phone and that it most likely would have been up there by now.  ;-( What a bummer.

Day 1

At this point my world is going upside down.  Lossing my phone is one of the worst things that could have happened.  Especially now,  I'm in the process of planning my wedding which is scheduled for the beginning of Jun and this occurred on May 22.
Well I felt anxious with out my phone.  How was I going to check my email, make calls, send texts, check on my kids, plan my wedding, which is only 26 days away.  :-(  What am I going to do with so few days and still so much left to do…  I resorted to emailing back and worth with my wedding coordinator.  Things happened slower but I still am able to get things figured out.   I called the zoo while I was at work but they had not seen my pink phone at all and told me to call back the next day.

DAY 0

This day started off great.  I woke up early with the family and we all got ready for make tracks at the zoo.  At 7am that morning I ran my first 5k (32:19, not to bad), my phone was with me the whole time.  When I finished running my daughter and I took pictures in our matching t-shirts (on my phone), she is 3 and ran the 1/4mile with her father.  I also took pictures of the two of them running together, it was so cute.  I was the proudest mommy every.  Then we attended the awards ceremony.  At that point I still had my phone.  We packed up to leave the zoo (I made sure to grab my fiancĂ©’s phone for him), went to the car and put everything away.  That’s when it hit me; I no longer felt my phone or saw my phone anywhere.  I called it and nothing happened, it just rung.  And I tore the car apart and all of our stuff looking for my phone.  There was no phone to be found.  I then came to the conclusion that I must have lost my phone in the zoo.  So I figured I would call them the next day to hopefully get it back.  Well need less to say this is where my adventure begins.
